That's exactly what I understand it entails.

The role I saw advertised for another force was for an " open content internet monitoring officer ".

FB and other social media platforms were actually mentioned in the ad for the job role.

Saying that , I’m sure low tolerance of halfwits isn’t actually illegal yet.

They will be looking for your friends list etc. if you have friends with a dubious past / currently under investigation- and there are lots of interactions with you and the other person they will look deeper at your suitability at guess to hold a FAC.
