First time out with the new pendragon barrel for my 22-250, 1-7 twist and using sierra 77gr tmk’s
6 shots in each but a good starting point.
Barrel fitted by James at Jager sporting, very happy with it. 👍🏻👍🏻

Nice start 👌
He spun up an ECM for me, just waiting on customs for a fore end shroud. Which barrel type did you go for? I’ve three consecutive cracking loads in the work up, 5p size & tweak seating once I’ve got my old man on the better side of health.

James did my .22-250 with a Pendragon 1:9, I put 69gn TMK through mine with similar results to you, also done my .280AI which is also a shooter.
Which powder are you using?
I’m using n540, but going to try some n160 as well, got some 69tmk to try but might just stick with these..😜
James has done a brilliant job much that’s others knock him, probably keyboard warrior's rather than actually been outside using them!!!!! He couldn’t have been more helpful when deciding on what I wanted and gave a few options.

RS60 for me, if you decide to shift the 69's keep me in mind please, in the previous barrel (LW 1:9) I tried N160 but didn't get on with it. He put an MTU profile on my .280 which both looks at shoots amazing and took very little load development, with the .22/250 I just had to tweak the seating depth of the previous load

James did a .222 re barrel for me, took a long time but for half the price quoted by other Smiths so was worth waiting for.
One particular Smith, not too far from me, said he would never have a Bergara barrel in his workshop as they were rubbish and cheap for a reason.
He wanted to fit a super dooper barrel guaranteed to hit a squirrel's nuts at 10 mile and last a life time etc etc, at almost three times the price of the one fitted by James.
Bergara rifles have proved themselves since then so I wonder what he thinks of them now ?

Looks good. I love the pendragon he fitted for me on a rifle. No load development for the below this was my first load, with tweaking got it down to 1/4 moa of the bench.

You going to work on seating around that smaller group or just live with it as it’s more than good enough isn’t it.

It’s a sign of Alzheimer’s if you constantly trot out the same story over and over again.
Isn't it just, but the moaners will never see it. It's always the same people harping on like a broken record.

I've got a lovely Sako 75 done by James and an older Sako too. They sit in the safe next to the 75 you did for me. The way they perform on the range says it all. Good rifles put together by good gunsmiths.

Oh so you remembered saying that to me then ? It's something I'll never forget. I am 83 but not senile just yet, incidentally the 222 is still going strong.
