First walk :)

Well as some of you may / may not remember I had a bad car crash about ten weeks ago , after having my femur pinned and ankle plated and both kness plated / replaced I went for my first walk today without crutches only 500 yards in total just to the little pond on the end of the lane but it was like birthday and Xmas rolled into one! Lol hopefully after Xmas I'll be able to get out for a little stalk can't wait!

Thanks gents its been a struggle but im
hoping to get back to work in a couple of weeks if I can which will be great as I've been going out of my mind with boredom at home lol

jimbo good luck with your recovery and get as many sessions in with the physio you can it pays in the long run, I have been in your situation a few times now its a long road and don't rush it which is hard to say as i know how much you want to crack on, atb wayne

+1. When I knackered my knee, doing what the Physio told me to do - consistently - was the best thing I could have done. Don't ease off until they tell you that you can.

Hope the recovery goes well - you'll be auditioning for 'RiverDance' in no time....!!
