Fitting a Red Dot to a Solid Rib Shotgun

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to fit a red dot to an O/U shotgun with a solid rib?

There are plenty of videos on YouTube showing kits for a vented rib but can't find anything kit or videos for a solid rib.

Michael Rainback did a fabulous job on a side by side combination rifle by inletting a short low picatinny rail in the rib where it was strongest if that is any help
