Flea and tick protection

I normally get Frontline or Advocate for my ESS from the vet or our local farmers' suppliers, but these are now closed/emergencies only.
Any ideas on how to get something suitable online please?

i would avoid frontline, fipronil is an aging chemical, most flea jobs i do are at houses that have been using frontline

Local vet here has a standalone box for collection of medication, might yours be open to a similar suggestion?

My vets arrangement is to exchange the pet outside and wait, social distancing PPE is all there, works a treat, dog gets treated - all’s well - normal appointment booking with edge leaning to emergency request

Farmer's suppliers are still open, but you may need to phone first (or when you arrive).

Vets are doing emergency stuff only, but if you need anything, and you are an account holder, phone and they'll leave stuff out for you to pick up.

there are alot of newer products, i would stear clear of any product that doeant need a prescription, comfortis and anvantex may be advocat, im rubbish at spelling but talk to your vet. main thing is to avoid fipronil as an active.
if you want any other info just ask

We get frontline delivered to the door thru pets at home , I think mate

Payment taken automatically from your bank, and it comes thru the letterbox every 4 weeks

Pretty good as when it arrives you know it needs doing

Hi
I remember my dog having an injection of something to cater for fleas or ticks. Do I remember correctly? Never seem to read about this.

I rang vet a while back for simparica prescription for each of my dogs for a years supply then bought it online Way cheaper even factoring cost of private prescription

I know that Mole stores supply different wormers for dogs etc and they are all open, see if there is a store near you?

Frontline is now (according to our local vet..) not as effective as it used to be. We switched ours to Bravecto - zero problems since the change and only one tablet every three months.
