Thanks for that, As it happens i have my own Cane rods and even use a silk line but not fished for some years, My friend and I always had a Cane day down in Salisbury on the Mayfly, My Kingfisher silk line was the last made in UK before they moved to France, My Cane rods and Silk lines were made in China by Zhu many years ago when he first started and now gained a following all around the world, My Son has one to and a Cane Rod i bought him made by a wonderful man called Owen Caudle of South Wales for his 40th birthday , Formaly Caudle and Rivaz in Hungerford, Any SD members like their river trout fishing and fancy a Cane rod and silk line check out ZHUSROD blog or zhusrod@gmail.com,
