New to me thermal scope

I was converted to digital scopes last year after being convinced that the Alpex was worth buying and I can honestly say that yes the Alpex is an awesome bit of kit and I have got on well with it. I do get annoyed with the battery running low but just carry an extra battery when out all day.
Now, I have just bought a literally brand new out the box never used pulsar duo dxp55 for my other rifle from a friend and although I look forward to using it, I get the feeling that it isn't going to be as simple to use as the Alpex. Zeroing it looks like a nightmare job what with both cameras needing to be zeroed separately. I'm off to the range today so wish me luck.

Good luck.

Having a multi spectral unit, I would suggest roughly bore sighting first - mine was 3ft out!

Once at the range, zero the digital first as it will be the easiest.

Then without firing a shot, move the thermal reticule inline with the digi reticule or the point of impact, before zeroing properly.

Hopefully it will save you some ammo, rather than zeroing both from scratch.

Don’t forget to save! 🙈
