Venison sausage rolls.

Made a rather large batch of different sausages the other week and there was quite a bit of meat to come out of the grinder and stiffer so threw all in a bowl and made these and they’re utterly delicious!!

Gave herself a well deserved break from the kitchen yesterday evening and served up tempura prawns with a sweet chilli dip followed by locally sourced sirloin steak with chips and a bit of colour on the plate because she's all about colour on the plate.

There was zero romance involved, she ate hers watching the soaps in one room and I ate mine in peace and quite in the kitchen.

Seeing as it was me that had slaved over the hot stove I treated myself to a snaky dessert without offering her any, 2 courses is more than enough for any woman.

Think there lot of truth in that mate - I must have built up some resistance over year to tummy bugs. My hands are regularly shït up, not the best at washing them before my buttys... Hands are cleanest at lambing time!!
