Does anyone have any recommendations for min and max load data using n135? I've tried the recommended load of 45g 69.5 oal which seems to be the only one they state which resulted in a jam in my Merkel Helix first shot, recoil seemed fairly low, no obvious signs of pressure problems when I finally got the case out

Back off a grain and work back up!

What brass you using? The factory load stated uses PPU brass.
Running the same data in something like lapua could cause issues.
thinker brass, less internal Volume and all that good stuff.

Yes it's ppu brass, federal primers, everything looked fine but the bolt head hadn't rotated fully so the bolt couldn't be opened, does it need inertia from the recoil to rotate the bolt head?

did it chamber OK in the Helix?
I am aware that some Blaser chambers are short in comparison and it is the reason we had to knock 0.5mm off the 270 load
I am not sure how the Helix rotates the bolt to release but it doesnt have the torque of a standard bolt to open if sticky.
It doesn't use inertia

the pressure is certainly not the problem with that load as its proofed.
any photos of the case at all?
Any witness marks on the spent case?
Could the chamber be sticky/rough?

you could try knocking a grain or half off the load but I am not sure it is pressure related

Seemed to chamber with no problems, recoil was noticibly less than factory rounds, poi about 2" higher than the factory round it was zeroed with. Case on the right is homeload, one on left is factory. Only got to fire one round as I had to return home to sort the jam so could have just been bad luck possibly
