Fox Pro inferno problem

I have a FoxPro inferno caller which has developed (another!) problem.
It will turn on but will only stay powered on for around 5 seconds before shutting off.

Has anyone came across this before, or know of anywhere that will fix them?
The caller is out of warranty so sending it back to the US could be more hassle than it's worth.

Thanks
Jon

Have a look on line, could be a simple ( or not ) reset, never had one with this fault, and foxpro have not been great with the one i have here i have had to send to china for a new display? Same as yours so this could be a inherent issue.

You could also send them an email

Hi Bob,
I've done a google search but can't seem to find anyone with same problem . Will try dropping them an email tomorow .

Thanks

Cheers bud,

Just a quick question,

When it goes off doe’s it come back on when you hit any button. I have the same here with a faulty screen that I am trying to get from the suppliers who sell them to foxpro ?

No the caller itself will turn on and stay powered up (green light stays on) for 5 second or so then turns off, as if its run out of battery .
Have tried various fully charged batterys but I have the same result.

I've had a few issues with the remote in the past before , would randomly swap between calls or I'd have to push a button a dozen times for it to register. These problems all seemed to rectify themselves though after a few weeks .... maybe I've just had a dud one from day one !

Will let you know if I can get a result 👍

No worries bud,

Strange its the caller NOT the remote? It’s normally the remote that has issues,

Could try a reload of data from the pc based systems IE: reloading the caller with calls etc,

Got to be worth a try,’

Bob.
