I've been a busy boy this week, here is my recipe for almost free food 
ingredients!.
1)60 wood pigeon foc.
2)4kg potatoes off the field foc.
3)1kg pork fat off cuts from the farm shop foc.
4)assorted vegetables from the farm shop box before the bin
foc.
5) sausage skins from the farm shop foc.
6) items paid for
lasagne sheets, mayflower Chinese curry powder, various spices, and whole grain mustard seeds.
after a little bit of processing I've ended up with this little lot for the freezer and some fox bait
4 double portions lasagna.
4 double portions cottage pie.
4 double portions Chinese curry.
10 garlic & harrisa sausage.
10 garlic & honey & mustard sausage.
10 garlic & fried onion & pepper sausage.
4 chilli kofta kebabs.
all vac packed and in the freezer

I'm going to guess a total cost of about £5. a bit expensive but there you go
