Front add on scope requirements

From those in the know is there any special requirements for scopes that are to be used with a front add on. I picked up a cobra blade yesterday the tube is spotless, nice and bright but i just cant get the image sharp or anywhere near it and im wondring if its the scope (nightforce nxs 3.5-15×50) even though it works fine with a pard 007. Ive adjusted the paralax on the scope which does nothing to the image nor does the ocular adjustment. Ive adjusted the distance of the occular lense on the cobra and the objective on the nightforce that does nothing but make it worse the only real differnce is when I adjust the paralax on the cobra which starts to give a better image when its at its infinity setting but i run out of adjustment before it gets sharp ive also tried adjusting the amount or ir including none but that also does nothing to the sharpness now I know that im never going to read a news paper at 100yards with the unit but to give you some idea a badger at 100yards was a fuzzy blob a fox at 170yards was unidentifiable and was a blur as it ran into the sqweak all the way to 50yards. Any ideas would be appreciated

I can’t work out how to copy a link but if you Google Cobra Blade NV there’s an article on the Gunmart site that seems to explain the set up. If you’ve looked already sorry about that.
