I have a Husqvarna 1600 stutzen in .243 which used to do the same thing seasonally. In the winter it would start shooting larger groups and shift POI. I free floated the barrel twice (In winter it wasnt enough so I had to do some more.)
This corrected it and it shot fine after that.
So free float the barrel so it doesnt touch the length of the barrel, only to leave the metal nosecap touching the barrel on the side edges.
As for your shooting - dont hold the foreend when shooting at the bench, no matter what people tell you, rest the rifle under the action, on a folded tea towel or similar, and with the Stutzen rifles, don't let them heat up. Three shots and let them cool, or even put a wet towel over the barrel to help. They dont like being shot hot.
