Green with envy…. Wish we had them over here. Rumours of a few about but never seen one….
4 got out a long time ago and spread and spread, you are over run with reds and sika who fill the truck tank in one go, you might get £5.00 for one at the dealers lol.
From my side of the fence they do eat well and not hard to shoot as their routine is their down fall once you have dialled into them, shot a lot in a friends wood with the thermal spotter giving them away peaking at you from the brambles.
I found the large number of foxes I had shot made a difference as when they are on the move I get in front and stop them then bang, it took a few ending up like green soup to work out you can't dither as with the x hairs on the HL area one half step and green soup, quite often they are on an angle which with a short bodied deer is hard to see!
Writing off front legs is better than a shot going back beyond that area, just what I have found over time.
Good luck with your wish.
Tim

But gotta say I’m now officially jealous of having one as a pet around the house not sure what the pooch would think though
