General purpose trouser - advice wanted

Hi all,
Just hoping for some advice please - I'm looking for a robust outdoor/shooting/talking trouser that has some built in stretch and ideally ripstop material. Some waterproofing would be a bonus.
I just bought a set of Hoggs of Fife Kincraig trousers which seem well made but have no stretch whatsoever and from just trying them on once can tell they would rip at the crutch, where trousers with no stretch always fail I find.
Any wisdom or advice appreciated.

Cheers

Without wishing to sound rude, if your trousers always go at the crutch it generally means they’re too small.
I recxomend filson double tin hunting trousers. I have a pair and will buy another. Awesome gear.
No offence taken 😂 You may have a point, but I'm a 32"waist 32" leg, and in good shape, not overweight in the slightest. I buy the trousers that fit my waist and have just found that's where they tend to fail. I don't abuse my gear but do put it to work.
Thanks for the recommendation on the Filsons.

I rate Rohan Bags unless it’s hammering down. They are circa £40 if you get them in the sale. They are really light and dry out quickly. You can spray them with Fabsil or something similar to get a bit of water resistance. They make a stretch version too but I’ve not used them.

I’m glad there’s no offence taken. They are pricey. I genuinely think they’re worth it. And that’s coming from a tight farmer! I use mine 2-3 times a week and I imagine I’ll still have them in 10 years.

I have a few Filson things and I have to say they are seriously built to last. I have a hat which will probably be a family heirloom by the time it breaks!

Shooterking hunt flex, I’ve had mine for just over a year now and have seriously abused them, they have no signs of giving up anytime soon, they are really comfortable as they have stretch panels but also codura knees and shins! Also very waterproof!

So what do you get it you have a 34 waist and 35 inside leg? To add my legs are not skinny! I look on web pages and there never seems to be a long leg version. If I am to invest in a good pair trousers what do you get?
Welcome any thoughts or advice.

Worth having a look a solognac (decathlon) trousers, Ive had a couple of pairs of the Inverness trousers for the past few years - they get worn day in day out for stalking, beating, dog walking etc. really tough and hard wearing and comfy too, the price wont offend anyone either!

Fjallraven have huge inside leg measurements to allow for custom hemming.

No adjustment necessary if you are about 7' tall......
