Beno,
I recently purchased a Z6i 2.5 X 15 X 56 BT 4AI.
As many have said before there are three/four main manufacturers and it's down to personal choice.
Personally I like to set the Swaro on around 6 for a wide field of view and then when the fox/deer is in site I screw in the magnification.. It's the way I like to do things!
One thing for sure is be sure to look around. I purchased a couple of months ago the swaro for £1695 new as apposed to the £1995 figure many quote. The scope was with me the next day from Cluny Country Stores http://www.clunycountrystore.co.uk/...Id=247&ccSID=f14ae202dc34ded338b0793a1f988fef I'd not used them before and selected the "email me now for best price offer" tab. The service was excellent and the price!! well more affordable then the normal asking price and the best I found.
What ever you choose.. go look, go play and get the scope for the right price.. it's a dent in the pocket but the money is well spent.
All the best
