Whilst the court have the power to order this ancillary to the main punishment the biggest issue is the police getting the offenders to the court in the first place.
Unfortunately the police are severely curtailed from effectively executing their duties by reason of lack of resources, lack of knowledge and wokeness, amongst other things.
The current labour government have further curtailed the courts abilities to sentence offenders to actual time in custody, great, helps alleviate the prison crises but at the expense of much else.

Can I just say that as a former coursing enthusiast and particepent, I dont agree in calling these criminals "Hare coursers". i find it disscusting that they are killing hares in spring and summer months with Leverets and nursing does.

It’s not coursing though is it. Just because you don’t believe it doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen. I know of a girl that had 2 bull greys pinched from her kennels, saw videos of the dogs on certain Facebook pages. She managed to get them back a very long way from home, but both were in a shite state.

Im saying dogs dont get knicked, but when people are betting thousands of pounds it wont a be a bull grey hound they run.
And it is coursing
