Gray & Co of Inverness telescope, number 1561, absolutely immaculate throughout including lenses as it never been used.
I bought it about three years ago from a chap near Huntley who said it had only ever sat on a shelf as his (then new) wife had not allowed him to go on the hill when they married! I bought it for guiding clients on stags on the hill but a change in policy on the estate I help out on means it has never been used and thus selling it to fund other 'toys.'
I was told that the older ones (before production was moved) are the best and, this one will date around 1980 so pre that date.
Asking for £1,350 including postage (insured mainland UK.)
I live in North Lancashire near the M6 jn 33.
