Hi,
Just thought I pass this on.
Couple of weeks ago I bought a cheap (£60) hard gun case from an eBay trader.
Thought it very good for the money so ordered another one of supposedly different length.
Both are near as damn it the same length but as my longer rifle fits in one it matters not. They are different shapes though.
Purpose of post is to show the foam lining in one of them.
I messaged the seller telling him the problem and he wrote back saying ‘That’s how they come from the factory.’

Ps. There are 3 pairs of slits like this.

Basically there are 3 pairs of full depth slits about 5 mm long in the foam lining.
