I was gifted a new gunslip from Amazon a couple of months ago. The zip failed on my shoulder, coming back from lamping midweek. This morning I went to check zero, it wasn’t even on paper

You can see the imprint from the crown.

Now that the rifle is fixed, hopefully you can steam-iron the worst of that crown mark out of the floor (as you would on a wooden stick)

Good idea, I was going to leave it as a reminder but actually smoothing it out will be more satisfying.

Bugger. Glad it wasn't worse. I dropped a rifle muzzle first onto tiles a while back. Got away with no damage, luckily!
