Happens all the time.

Organisation decides they need a change. They advertise for the job but aren’t clear enough about the requirements. Contractors bid for it without fully understanding the requirements. Organisation chooses cheapest bid and commits. Both sides then have an incentive not to ask enough (or the right) questions.

Contractor starts doing what the job description requires, but then start to realise the job is actually far more complex. Often they try to explain this to the organisation, but the department overseeing the implementation of the new system either doesn’t have the budget to pay for the additional work, or starts to try to conceal the problem from the rest of the organisation, hoping that it’ll all just work out (or both).

When the new system goes live, it’s a disaster. But quite often the old system can’t be switched back on because the licence on it has expired.

I wouldn't be so sure. Just got off the phone speaking to an RFD about one of a gun on the site. Without the S/N though, he couldn't tell me jack about it as he's been locked out of shop's account!

Yep, hopeless. Got a couple of adverts running and cant save any changes to the description when I try to edit and they have removed the counter that shows how many views the item has had.

On yesterday , TBF its a lot better than it was before imo ( though its been shocking just previous) . Only real issue is they have posted the data over , so if you have gun or guns up you likely need to fill in some extra info on your postings now and get better pictures up

Feel very sorry for the dealers who have their stock lists linked from their own site to the guntrader site, currently just not working.
I expect this will crash revenues, what a shame if it goes under due to new IT, we need an easy go to gun porn site.

After negligently leaking my details, making me spend a fair whack upgrading my home security as a result and hiding behind a rename to avoid legal scrutiny, GT can go shove it as far as I’m concerned.

I don't know why they changed it, but I prefer the older style much easier to use.

Yep back to the old style site, they must have been inundated with complaints. They've had four emails from myself alone!
