Gym for Spaniel

Good morning everyone, I hope you can help me with this question, I have a good bitch ESSpaniel three and a half years old, she works quite well and even at home she acts like one of the family. I would like you to broaden the harnesses a bit like so many photos I see on this forum with Spaniels with almost gym-style bibs, my question is if there are particular training sessions beyond the daily outings between hunting and non-hunting activities, unfortunately here in Italy we only hunt four months out of the year and the rest of the animal is limited to little activity, thanks to anyone who can suggest anything Thanks and bye

PS How did we manage before Google Translate. 🙄

if I wrote to you in the English language that I was taught at school you would not have understood anything unfortunately for me, so out of politeness since I'm at someone else's house I try to do my best HI
If you wrote in the English language that you were taught at school you would still have been more understandable than many that post on here whose native tongue is English.😂

There are some gun dog training clubs that like to run their dogs in competition, and that can be fun as well as keeping you and your charge in order. Water test retrieves, hidden dummy retrieves to name a few.

BC.

No racing snake 🐍 in my springer . Mine is the more traditional working spaniel as you can see in the photo. He works out every day . He just turned four last month and is is highly intelligent and needs to be working every day . 😎

Now I'm confused - looks like you posted in Italian and someone else did the translation for you??

Anyway, breeding has more to do with the shape than exercise. I've got a small springer bitch who gets a lot of exercise and is like a rake - nothing like a "gym style bib". She's relatively young and will fill out a bit as she gets older, but she's never going to be broad across the chest.

Anyway, in response to this bit:

and the rest of the animal is limited to little activity

So they don't get any exercise the rest of the year? Mine only work 3 1/2 months but they get loads of exercise the rest of the year so there's no impact on their shape from one month to the next.

Good day, thank you for your interest For the translated double post, I certainly missed some steps as Chrome browers translates automatically I'm thinking of doing, now with the mild season, a weekly training in the water until the reopening of the hunting season which here begins on the third Sunday of September, after this period I will be able to evaluate how he will face the hunt with what strength and muscular structure
