Haix Boots

Hi lads

I'm in need of a new pair of boots for walking/shooting and have settled on a pair of haix.

As this tier system is preventing many from trying on boots etc I wonder if anyone who has a set knows the width of the brand? Do they come up narrow in fit? If i take an 11 would i be better getting a 12 for the width etc.

Cheers

They are quite a generous fit. They do however do different widths if you look hard enough!

Cheers for that, I think the ones I've found are a standard fitting not wide or anything so I'm thinking maybe 12 be good route to go

I'm a 10 normal fit and bought 10 of the bay with no problem, I personally wouldn't go up or down a size, I would stop with size you are.

On their site there is a size advisor.
I'm normally a wide 8 or a 9 normal.
The advisor suggested a wide 7 🙄
275/110 or similar

I have two pairs of Haix and the 8W fit like a glove, far better than the goretex size 9m.

Good boots and would recommend 👍

I wear Haix scouts in size 11 and I am a size 11 in some boots 12 in others, the Haix 11's fit comfortably

Stick to the size you usually are , I've got 2 pairs ( one in the truck and one pair is left at the lodge) ,

I'm a 9, and both pairs are a 9 , they are generous but this allows for a good quality sock ,

I had a pair of 10s , that were ok but on the large side( I did use them, but they were a bit sloppy) , so I gave them away on here

I am a size 11 in most boots. I have 2 pairs of Haix in size 11, which are OK, but an 11.5 would be better. Alternative lacing techniques (as per an earlier thread on here) have helped to achieve a more comfortable fit.
Width wise, they are perfect. Just the length that's an issue.

It’s funny because I have wide feet.
I have the Altberg defenders and the Hiax version too. Both fit well however the Hiax are 9m and Altberg 9w. The Hiax were a little tight when first breaking in the Altberg have been good from the start.

Arrived just now from Estonia...possibly last EU order to get through lol

Be checking them on and going for my 'exercise' in a short while.

Thanks again for all the advice 👍🏻

Bought a pair of HAIX, delivered yesterday. I usually go for a wide in Altberg, these are 11M and perfect for my feet.

I use Haix too. Although these are designated as desert boots, they have proven equally as useful in the English countryside. And the 8M is my normal shoe size, and the boots fit well even with a thick pair of Sealskinz on.

I normally take a 12 and have a wide foot, had to go with the 13 w to get the best comfort.

They are like slippers wear them every day.
