Havent notice anybody else posting this, apologies if it is old hat...

I have just noticed that the Vihtavuori load data on their website has been updated...bullets like V-MAX and TSX have been added to the .308W list...I haven't looked at any other chambering lists so can't say. Don't know when they did it but maybe worth a look.

The Vihtavuori iPhone App also has the new bullets and loads.

The loads I have been using for 110gr V-MAX succesfully, turn out to be well above their current max load :( but I notice they are using 0.050" shorter COAL than I do...

I found years ago when they still did the online PDF’s for load data. The max loads could change significantly from year to year. I believe the advice at the time was to use the data for the year of manufacture of the powder.
Doesn’t help much if you use the app though as it automatically updates.

That makes good sense, I seem to remember Muir saying something much the same. QL indicated the load I use was well under at the time (a couple of years ago)

I got some old N140 with my loading gear when I got it. The loads I used were well over the “current” data at the time. But under by quite a bit lower of two nodes iirc of the year on the bottle data.

Still no 17cal data, I looked at the Norma data a while back and that was the same. You would think they would include them.
