Heated Hardox Target

H 1
Morning Tim,
I’ve only shot it at 100m(106yds) with .243, 75g v-max and .22-250 , which just marked the surface with no damage, it’s 12mm Hardox, I’ll take some photos now , the
invite to you or anyone on here to come shoot it still stands……
Triggermortis
this is the second time recently they the SD experts have been wrong !

The other one is the extraction bike …..

Not one of the nay sayers is man enough to admit they were wrong , very telling …..

Yet again someone has been told something won’t work , goes out and does it anyway and it works !

Third time actually.

Hmmm, MINIMUM range 200m. That‘s a very limited application for shooting with a thermal.
I guess it would be perforated if you move in closer. I have a different understanding of Hardox 20250713_191133.webp20250713_191148.webp
Cut a pice of ply any shape you fancy, fix a copper tube vertically to the back. Far left or right. Cut a piece of re-bar and make a wooden T handle. Cover the ply with foil, add a bit of bicycle reflector for NV.
Angle slightly towards the sky, add black tape. Sorted. Cost peanuts and will last indefinitely.
I've lost count of the times I've shot and failed to knock this one over.
Just bought one of these, one of those things that just look as though it’s a game changer, runs off a 12v battery and lasts for 3hrs, has a heat pad on the back and is designed for thermal scopes, rated for .308 anyone tried one?View attachment 425190View attachment 425191
