I bought one of these as a back-up thermal to my Telos given that Pulsar repairs/returns take weeks and I cannot be without one. Excellent device (shame about the menus), but a colleague using it in anger during our excellent week up in Scotland recently on red stags reported poor battery life. Reading around this, I see that they are "rated" for roughly 3 hours operation. I decided to buy a spare one, only to find them virtually non-available and, if they were, at extortional cost!
