Good morning everyone,
My name is Al, and I'm from Texas (south central United States). I happened upon this website by accident as I was doing some research on hunting in Europe, and enjoyed that people actually contribute information and post - so here I am. The format in this forum is similar to a few here in the states, so I figured I would join and introduce myself.
I had the good fortune of being introduced to hunting and fishing early-on by my father. We mostly hunt near the border with Mexico (a scrub brush/semi-arid environment), where we target whitetail deer, feral hogs, javelina (like a pig, but not), coyotes, bobcats, ducks, geese, dove, and quail, and a few others including a variety of introduced exotic game. My passion is wingshooting, but I also like traveling around, seeing new places, experiencing new cultures, and checking new species off my list. My goal is to hunt England in the near future and South Africa in the not-so-distant future.
If you're reading this and considering hunting in Texas, feel free to use me as a point of contact. I should clarify that I have nothing to sell, but I always love pointing people in the right direction.
Looking forward to good conversation!
