Hello everyone

I’m very new to the sport and I’m booked on for my DSC1 in October at Calton Moor Ranges. I’ve had two deer stalking outings with the BASC scheme at Huckwold which was fantastic however a suitable deer did not present itself on both occasions, either way it great to actually get out on the ground and I am really hooked now. I am a member of a local rifle club and own a .308 Tikka Lite rifle.
Obviously I have the whole of the North West on my doorstep and also close to Yorkshire. It would be great to hear from anyone regarding their deer stalking experiences in this area or further afield. Thanks

It’s definitely a great experience to get out and stalk deer and a good learning curve too
