I'm James, the CEO of the MyHunt app. Really pleased to be able to join the SD as a trade member to support both the site and also deer management in the UK.
A bit about me, I'm a keen stalker/hunter, based in Nottinghamshire. I've stalked the British six, I predominantly stalk on ground in/around Cambridgeshire but have annual pilgrimages up to Scotland for the reds and sika. I've also hunted further afield in the USA, Austria, Germany, France, Sweden and Namibia.
As for MyHunt, for those of you who haven't tried us out, we are an app (and desktop software) that allows you to manage all your permissions, cull figures, time spend in area (for WS1 and WS3), collaborate with others in your syndicate (or other people on the ground such as forestry staff) and generally be safer, more organised and more efficient. We also have great weather forecasting with shooting light and other features more focused on stalking requirements.
There is a free version (with some limitations) and also a PRO version, which comes with a two week free trial. PRO is also heavily discounted with a group subscription, so it definitely pays to get a group on it.
We are used already by BASC and the National Trust amongst others, so please do give us a go! We do recognise not everyone has need for an app or digital tools but if you are intrigued, we feel it offers a lot of benefits.
