Good morning all. We’re originally from Dorchester but now farm in Carmarthen. I myself have been involved with shooting from a young age, we’ve run syndicate shoots in several locations. Only in the last 15 years have I ventured into stalking, and then it is for our own consumption not on a commercial basis. Fox is my bread and butter. Shooting my own ground and neighbours taking 40-50/ year. I’ve recently started clay shooting as I can no longer shoot game. (we are poultry farmers and the AI risk is too great for me to bring anything home 😞).

Shotguns, I have an AYA Yeoman. AYA No.3 and Miroku Mk38 sporter. Rifles I have a Browning TBolt .22lr, Remington 700sps .223 and a Sako 85 deluxe 25-06. Looking to get out and about a bit more nowadays and particularly interested in members advice on reloading.

Greetings Rob, welcome to the site.

Should you need advice on reloading, I'll be only too happy to help. Been reloading since the '70s.

Coincidentally, some of my shooting is in the Trimsaran area and toward Carmarthen.

Hi Rob, I am in W.Wales and have lived in here for nearly 6 years. We have a Smallholding and a Holiday Let. My partner and I were originally living in Crawthrone, Dorset very close to Langhams vinyard. I was a member of a pheasant shooting syndicate in West Morden and I have shot on plenty of Dorset farm shoots, some of which I am sure you will know. I used to stalk deer on a few Dorset Estates and some land around Bere Regis. Unfortunately you will find very few deer in West Wales .... Drop me a line?
