I’ve joined the forum as I’ve just returned to shooting after some 20 years away from the sport and retirement, having possessed Shotguns and also shot with a 22 rimfire and occasionally a .243. I have finally received my coterminous certificates after waiting nearly 9 months!
I have just acquired a .17 HMR and after some good practice am intending to start to learn the ropes of stalking and to do my DSC1 etc, as my permission in Berkshire has many uncontrolled Roe and Muntjac as well as a significant fox and other vermin problem.
I’ve already found the forum very useful in “catching up” with all the current rifle shooting news and some good advice about cleaning the .17HMR
