Help keep gamekeeping and wildlife management on the college curriculum

BASC is calling on gamekeepers, shoot managers and shooting businesses to provide advice and feedback on the development of new post-16 college courses that will have a dedicated gamekeeping and wildlife management curriculum and provide young people with viable progression routes through the college education system.

game shoots are closing and there will be no jobs for the game keepers ! the old keepers will try to hold on to their jobs and wont make room for young under keepers/college finishers as there will be no jobs for them to go to .just look how many young people finished the three year course at sparsholt college but are unable to find game keeping employment. the good old days of every farm/estate having a shoot have gone.
 
What a great initiative and I hope people get behind it. I know of people who’ve done Sparsholt courses and got jobs. If you want something badly enough it won’t pass you by.
