Help please - Large flip up scope cover

Hi folks, i’m Struggling to find a flip up scope cover big enough for my 3-12x62 Nikko Sterling diamond scope. I resorted to using the biggest my gun shop had but stuffed inside the objective lens end rather than on the outside! Was ok for best part of a year but it fell out the other day and is now lost in a field somewhere...

The overall diameter of the objective lens is 70mm. I’ve seen stretchy ones on the bushwear site but the biggest they go to seems to be 62.2mm.

If anyone else has the same scope or a similar size scope and can recommend a flip up scope cover which fits I would be very grateful. The eye piece end is sorted already; it’s just the objective lens side i need a cover for. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Harkila do a 65mm neoprene cover with silent magnet release for the Objective lenses. I think it is the XL version but I don't have a scope that big, so you would need to check but the neoprene has a good amount of give to it and I would imagine would stretch without issue. They are pretty good if you want something that will function faultlessly and silently every time without working loose. Probably the only piece of Harkila kit I have seen that I actually think is properly good value for money.

After too many breakages with the flip up covers, I now use the scope bikini that came with the scope and some electrical tape around it by the eye and objective. No noise, breakages and good protection for the glasses in all weathers, inc crawling through cover etc.

Thanks very much for the above suggestions. I already have a cover which is good for the eye piece, so would prefer to find a decent flip up cover for the objective lens end, rather than go with bikini covers. I’ll investigate the harkila XL, not cheap but does look good and may be the only option...

Have a look on Aliexpress they have flip up covers that go up to 69mm so they might fit.
I bought some 59mm ones for my 60mm objective and they fit great. They are really cheap and shipping is free so its ' worth a try.
