Hi all,
Just a quick double check. I have gralloched a roe buck and come across what looked like pomegranate seeds in the connective tissue under the spine between the diaphram anus. They seemed unusually bright (fresh blood in them?) and numerous. Poor pictures attached. All other organs looked prefectly normal, as did other glands. The animal was neck shot in case that makes a difference (not my preference but let's leave that out for the timebeing). Slightly uneven antler growth between the two sides but no obvious sign of injury or infection externally either.
Any ideas on whether this is normal and just something I have never noticed before?
All best,
Z.
