HEYM SR20 Floor plate release repair?

The floor plate release button on my SR20 has broken in two, it currently is serviceable, will hold the floor plate closed and can open the magazine, but it comes off the rifle.

I worry that it could come off in the field and be easily lost.

Is this something that can be repaired or replaced easily? Online part? Some sort of epoxy weld?

No idea about repair, but in the meantime I would use it like a blind mag, and cycle the unfired rounds out.

I have a rifle with a detachable floorplate, and I never open it for fear of losing it.

Could it be drilled and secured with a roll pin, perhaps?
