Hello to all, and to an all a “Hallo”.

From RSA, where we have all types of hunts, but a lot of our hunting is a lot more condensed and chances of dropping what you went out to hunt is 95% guaranteed.

I was reading through the threads of an old .303-243 thread and thought this is a very informative community to join.

Hunted a young-ish fallow deer stag two weekends ago, but it was a proper stalk. 38kmh winds; -1°C and at altitudes exceeding 1800m above sea level.
Shooting a Mauser M18 chambered in .30-06 Spring and then a local wildcat, the 6mm Musgrave. There are a few other rifles in the safe, but they seldomly come out to play.

Still lots to learn, but enjoying the forum. I hope read all the rules and don’t step on any toes in my introduction!
