I was thinking about a “ansitz jacke”. A jacket or big bag to keep warm when on the high seat

Rain is simply fixed with a roof on the high seat Side panels help a lot as well

The addition of a roof and side panels makes a considerable difference to heat loss due to wind chill and rain





Sleeping bag suits compact down much smaller than this and I wouldn't want to be putting my big muddy boots inside it

I liked the detachable boots with this one so I could wear my big stalking boots but a pita to get on with boots on

I have one of these, apart from the press studs on the cuffs it is silent. You can hitch up the lower half to walk to a high seat as it is zipped all the way across at waist level (you tube it).

I had one of those for 25 years, with the waterproof outer layer. Still got it in fact, but no longer waterproof or particularly warm. Was great at lambing time: Could have a walk around the sheep at night without even getting out of bed!
