Having watched this I most certainly won't be downloading the firmware update! No way am I going to be faffing about spinning the turret constantly to change magnification when I'm being watched by a group of fallow!! Set it to 7x & if I need more or less then step up to 14x or down to 3.5x with a single click.

You still get the 3.5-7.5 or you can 3.5-4.5-5.5 and so on. We have lost the option to dim down the ret

Problems with the hik condor updates as well.
Hik will need to sort this out.
I always believed a firmware update was to add new features and improve existing ones not the opposite.

Not set mine up properly yet but I am sure I'll be wanting to dim the reticle down as much as I can so another reason not to do the download...

Unfortunately, HIK seem much less receptive to user input than the likes of Arken/DNT
