Hikmicro alpex a50pl pro protective film

Hi All, I bought a hikmicro alpex a50pl pro, and loving setting it up. I've bought a LRF cover from Rory and it's brilliant.
My question is. In the box comes 5 plastic lens covers/ cleaners which look rectangular how do they work?
In my ignorance I can't find any information about them.
Can anyone advise.

I believe they are scope protection to go between your scope and rings. 4 + 1 spare.
