HikMicro Alpex - Wandering Shots

Evening all.

Bought a HikMicro Alpex a couple of years ago. Used it once and then had a bit of a hiatus from shooting. Mounted it to the 204 Ruger - made sense at the time.

Back on it now and went out with it today. The 204 has always been a tack driver but I really struggled today. Very inconsistent. Two or three shots on top and then out by 2-3 inches. Odd.

Got back home and cleaned the barrel and also upgraded the firmware on the scope.

Anyone had this with the Alpex? Just trying to rule the scope out as the problem.

That's interesting, when I bought my first Hik I had the exact same issue with my 204, I put it down to cheek weld in the end and cery quickly took it off, it appears to work on my other guns that I tried it on namely a 223 and a rimfire.

Had the same with my alpex a50t. Tried everything with the gun then realised it was the scope that was the problem. Never found out what the problem was though

Yes, had this for ages would zero it then a week later miss so would go and check zero and its about 3 inches out.
All rings bases torqued , after a while i realised it had to be the scope so contracted hik. They were very good and said there was an issue with the image module and repaired it.... Since then its been fine
