Hi all
Just wanted to know people's thoughts on this thermal from use or ownership or just looking through one
Is it as clear on image as people state

I know at first battery run time was a problem I take it that's all sorted now and I wouldn't be using supplied batteries myself if I brought one

Also how it compares to a pulsar telsos too

If you have any questions on these products feel free to give me a call 07954109314 also can sort you out a good price on any of these models

Handled the Telos yesterday - OMG it’s a telescope! IMHO far too big to be carried around, and not much better than the hélion 2. The more compact 640’s like the Pixfra are more to my liking. The Telos I imagine would be great on a tripod or roof mounted

I was wondering about which thermal too get very recently (my first one), and ended up going for the 50 over the 35. I'm happy to scan screens so the narrower field of view isn't an issue and I prefer the buggy / clearer image you get from the 50. I think it helps pick the best animal rather than just see some animals.

I’ve got the CQ35 and echo the above, its bloody brilliant.
I still can’t believe how much better it is than my previous 2 Pulsars the latest one was an XQ38LRF and seriously its like someone has put the lights on at all the land i shoot on. I just walk around on standby and it never needs recalibrating, doesnt need focusing, lift it to your eye and it turns on instantly and just works with the minium of fuss, the Pulsars i was constantly fiddling to get the best image, and it needed recalibrating every few minutes to maintain a decent image.
Tried a Telos at the Stalking Show and although not a real test but i thought the image in that scenario wasn’t as good as the HIK, also its bigger and not as nice in the hand.
The lens cap is crap, ive just took it off and the rubber eye piece needs zip tying on other than that i cant fault it, some folk get their knickers in a twist about battery life but im sure they are justifying spending over a grand more on equivalent thermals.
I paid £1675 for mine and for that money its a snip.

I would suggest the 35 model rather than the 50 as there is limited benefit for having the 50 lens and a saving. The telos in its 640 sensor form is better but not £1300 better.
Someone did say that to me too about the 35 vs 50 up until about 350 yards you would not see the difference after that I would see more quality in the 50 in image quality also 35 is better for scanning around quicker too

I'd love to see the two side by side at night to make that mind choice up for myself

Thanks for all the replies
I'm undecided on a 35 or a 50 I like the sound of 50 being slightly crisper especially at longer distances but also 35 is wider field of view also less money but I'm more interested in clear image over the extra little bit of money between the two models but field of view is nice too when quick scanning

I'd like to be able to look trough one at night in the field
By the sounds of it it will be a better image then my current helion xq38 also lighter
Also plus the reason for upgrade too the built in LRF

There is a very lengthy thread on here re the Condor. I suggest you read it all. It however now seems the multiple issues and bugs have been resolved.
I am hoping to pick up a Telos 35mm LRF on Monday for a loan demo.
It will be good to see how it performes in real time foxing scenarios.
