Hikmicro harbrok HE25L 4k

Low end thermal sensor, 256px sensor and 25mm lens... priced accordingly ..You get what you pay for... Not something you would use for foxing, unless on a very tight budget and then, I'd sooner buy a Lynx 2.0 LH25 or LH35 with 384px sensor
Which monoculars would you recommend for sub £1200 for foxing? Thanks for all the information and advice. New to the thermal world and would like something I could use for a few years then potentially move on to something a bit more serious like a true thermal scope with lrf or lrf thermal monocular

<£1200 is still a low budget for a foxing thermal... I would probably look at the secondhand market..

OR if you can stretch a little more a 640px unit like the Finder below with 35mm lens and LRF... excellent performance at this price point.. you will not get better for £1299, in fact you would have to throw £500-700 more to get similar...

If you want a something from HikMicro in this price range, then you would be looking at the Lynx LH35 but thats 384px resolution and no LRF.

I've got a friend who's looking for a first thermal. He thinks my 2020 vintage Pulsar XM30s is incredible.

Would Habrok HE25 4k be a similar thermal image, worse, better?

different beasts at all to me. Habrok starting magnification make for a narrow fow but also helps in picking heat signatures also with a basic thermal sensor
