Good evening
Does anyone have/use on of these? I’d like to use it as a spotter with my n.v set up for rabbits and foxes
Just wandering if anyone has any first hand experience with them
Cheers Rob

Hello, You may find that a bit limited past 100 yards , Have you looked at other thermals , What is your budget ?

I have already posted this exact reply on another thread. But it may be of some use to you.

Just been through this exact thing myself. I was convinced looking online a hikmicro LE10 was going to be good enough for what I wanted. Went into my local sportsman gun centre and got my hands on a LH15, LH19 and a LH35. I was so disappointed with the image of the 15 the 10 wpukd be uselessfor anythingmore than a rat at 10 yards in my mind, the 19 was much better but the 35 just made a world of difference, it was like standarddefinition tv and hd the 19 and 35. I had set myself a bugget of no more than 600 quid, however that was immediately clear it wasn't enough. So was heading for the 19 at 899, but decided the 35 was so much better it was worth the extra and they gave me a cracking deal so left with the 35 and spent way more than I had expected but its worth the extra! Its a night and day difference between 600 quid thermal and a 1000 plus thermal. Been using it a couple weeks now and its a game charger. Just can't believe what iv been missing right infront of me

Around the £400 mark
I was hoping it would be enough to pick things out then check what it is the the nv on rifle
Do you think I’d be best holding off?

I might have to go some where and try it out then, I was hoping it would be enough to spot things then switch to the nv on the rifle

I would hold off. Really is a case of saving up to buy the best you can and would suggest 35MM lens as a minimum.

I started out with a thermal with a 06 sized sensor for ratting, moved to a Pulsar Axion XM22 when started stalking in earnest - which was fair TBH - and now have a HIK Micro CQ model LRF with 35 mm lens. It cost me by not waiting.

I spot with it and then confirm with NV. The Pulsar was fine for that - but bigger is definitely better. The 06 (and the 10 mm lens) will only give you heat signals really and in mist/rain you will struggle to get that.

Depends if you can be content with 'just good enough' really.

Hello, I have one but still prefer my normal N/V spotter, I am not wanting to look in tall grass or bushes/ hedgerows/ woods that Stalkers may need to, My latest is a N/V scope with a handle , £65, Still have my Pard 019, The only Air Rifle shooting i do now is Ratting

I have said this before but will throw it out there again. My experience is limited but I have used a lynx 19 for a while now, stalking and foxing,. Game changer, don’t know about the 15 but the 19 definitely is a viable option. Yes I would like to upgrade but don’t feel I NEED to.
