As above this used to have rifled muzzles but these have been taken out at some stage, its been a sleeper as there is even colour hardening still on the triggers, case is a H&H airline case from the 60s as it didn't have a case when new. Have the history paperwork from H&H. 28" barrels pistol grip (very rare) patterns a 30" circle lovely with 28g express 6s at 40 yards. Well balanced and great to carry walking up, I have had it for 10 years and used it 5 or 6 times, paid £10k , looking for £7,600

Should be in with a chance, I sold a H&H 577/450 that had been polished out to a 20G shotgun for a fast sale in Reno Nevada for $4500 9 years ago.

That is gorgeous; I particularly like the Deeley & Edge Forend catch, (developed by Westley Richards in the 1870's I think) rather than the Push Button release.

If it wasn't for the police paperwork I would buy it today.

It’s on shotgun certificate, providing your already a ticket holder there’s no paperwork!

Just thought the attached may be of interest

@Thoburns interesting to see the paperwork. I've got an early h and h royal I had out at a simulated grouse day yesterday and have just asked h & h to start researching the gun. Good luck with the sale.
