Hornady 143gr ELD-X true BC

Looking at the Hornady website i see that the stated BC for the 143gr ELD-X is : 0.625(G1) or 0.315(G7).

In my past experience bullet manufacturers do like to exaggerate these numbers so for all you home loaders what did you
finally end up with when truing your BC?

Don't they issue multi BC figures for ELD-X ? No doubt the stated peak BC will be at an unrealistic velocity.

My bad, must only be for ELD-M.
But, surely it would only matter if you're shooting at long distance ?

At the minute i am still in the process of getting everything together so i thought i would just get
a head start on load development .

I long since gave up worrying about BC. Do 10 shots group in the V at a 600yds followed by same at a 1000yds?
