Are these as frangible as 87gr vmax as cant find much info on them ? Currently using 87gr vmax for park culls and worked a load up for the 87gr bthp same spec and poi , are they ok for shoulder shots on ounty roe or as messy as vmax ? Thanks in advance .

If you’re in 6mm I wouldn’t bother, tried these thirty years ago and they tended to make a bit too much mess for my liking, that said I’ve been shooting them for eating a long time now. Probably still have a half opened box of them kicking around.

I used them in .243 on roe and fox. I didn't find them messy at all and took both species with great authority. an outstanding bullet and weight for a 1:10 twist .243

Have you looked at their recommended use on the Hornady website?

Used them years ago and gave up as I found them to change direction off of bones, even just a rib on a quartering shot seemed to deflect them
