Hornady Lock n Load auto powder scale and dispenser..

As title really, browsing through a website the other day i saw the above machine for sale, and £150 cheaper than the RCBS chargemaster.

Now i've used a friends chargemaster and was really impressed with it.

Has anyone tried the Hornady offering, and what did you think?

Auto dispensing scales: About a 4 year life span and problematic.
Quality Beam Scales: They work for decades without any special attention.

I'm sure the Hornady is as good as any.~Muir

I have one, very nice bit of kit indeed. Usually throws charges to -0 and +.1gr can get the odd +.2gr using tubular powder like VihtN140 but you can alter the final trickle setting to cut in earlier. How much have you seen it for? I got mine from a company in Florida for £110 about a year ago.

Im looking to get one too. Cheapest I have found is £240 from optics warehouse. Wish I could get one for £110!!

Certainly wouldn't pay that much for one, better bet would be a set of decent scales (RCBS 5-0-5) and a Target Master Trickler system, very accurate bit of kit

Just ordered a new Lyman gen 6 £240 from optics warehouse. Did a bit of reading up and spoke to Dauntsy guns for there opinion and decided to go with the lyman over the hornady. I'll let you know how i get on with it!
