having used these once on a couple of roe last year i found they kill well enough, But i did note an exit wound an inch across perhaps slightly wider on both does.I thought at the time so much for disintegrating frangible etc etc.But i would appreciate any input as to these rounds from people that have used them. So i ask that readers dont clutter up this thread with their opinions unless the are based on solid first hand experience. Would users of these bullets say they feel the bullet in .243 for example can and does pass through a Roe chest or would it simply be bulky core fragments/bullet base bursting through? i Im not sure to be totally honest but i had exit holes so thats a red flag right there. All the hype on line states they should not go through a deers chest ,rather they should explode a few inches in but my two beasts showed otherwise .Anyways--if you have used them and perhaps seen a bullet pass through and kick up dirt beyond the target thats what would interest me.

Ive used them. Some exit. Some didnt. Depends what you hit on the way in to make it explode. Hit bone/shoulder. You will soon see a hole alot larger than 1”!!! And possible no exit to note of.

its the velocity ! if you reload reduce the speed and the will work fine,if they are factory try the 75gr v-max.

Shot them for about 10 years, but never chest shooting, always head or neck and for those 2 areas, I can say, they are fantastic.

I use them all the time in my .243 Steyr Pro Hunter.

I get excellent results. With a chest shot, an exit wound is usually about 20mm.

With head / neck shots they drop on the spot.

I will use these while ever I can !
