Just wondering about bullet performance on Deer, Sika, mostly and occassional Fallow.
My Tikka likes both Fiocchi 150gr BT (EPN) and Fiocchis 165gr hpbt Sierra GameKing.
I've used the 150gr EPN effectively and they do perform great, sometimes a little too well in the chest cavity, I tried a box of the 165gr HPBT and it grouped just as well as the EPN.
Both rounds group, 5 rounds, under 25mm at 100m out of my Tikka.
I was thinking of trying the 165gr this season, obviously its a heavier bullet but my thinking is the GameKing might not explode like the EPNs do, thoughts?
