Hose Pipe Bans - Larder & Vehicle Cleaning

At my reading you need to be a fully recognised "commercial" enterprise to qualify for hosepipe ban exception if wishing to continue with meaningful larder and vehicle (payload) decontamination/cleaning.

Registration as a Small Food Business would, I feel sure, also be acceptable but the one for the pot deerstalker would be in breach of a ban.

Your thoughts and informed advice please.

Fill up a couple of killer sprayers, pump up unit and spray it down. When it is raining in a october it will be forgotten about.

Is that decent? Looks ideal for cleaning the boat plus loads of other tasks.
Too be fair it was a lot better than I expected for the money. It's not a match for a plug in machine, but I have used it to clean blood off the back of my pickup and a few other jobs. I got it to rinse my mountain bike off with as much as anything. The detergent bottle does what it should and you have two nozzles.
I would buy another if/when it dies.

From my reading of this, if you are using the hosepipe on a farm or agricultural business then it is not restricted.

If in doubt I’d send a carefully worded email requesting confirmation of whether it is permitted to use a hosepipe to the cleaning of equipment, vehicles & associated areas involved in the processing of deer for human consumption. If they say no then forward to BASC etc. & ask them to follow up with water authority as that then constitutes a health & hygiene breach etc.

When I read that I took the H&S exemption as clearly allowing hosing down an environment in which you are dealing with a carcass that ultimately goes into the food chain. I will also continue to hose out my dogs kennels and run on the same basis

We have a 110 litre rain barrel and that with a hand pump is my recreational stalker go to .
No ban here yet but waiting for Severn Trent to say it's the wrong type of rain 🤣🤣
